My 40 Year War on Psychiatry - "Forty years ago, I attended the annual meetings of the American Psychiatric Association in Washington and my sanity never recovered. Or at least that is what therapists presume based on my writings about their endless fabrication of bogus mental illnesses." https://t.co/UJhSfQi3vs

This was the same argument made years ago when many of us were fighting to get FDA blackbox suicide warnings added to antidepressants. People said the warnings would scare patients away from taking the medication. That logic never made sense to me.
Informed consent is not fear mongering. It’s information that helps patients and families make educated decisions and know what to watch for.
Like our family, there are countless others who later said, “We wish we had known.”
Thank you to fellow Tennessean @johnrich for leading the charge to require written informed consent for all Veterans being prescribed psychiatric medication. We hope the same standard will be applied to all Tennesseans in 2027! @SecVetAffairs

The psychiatric industry has zero tests for mental illness, zero effective treatments and, worst of all, zero cured patients.
It’s not a “chemical imbalance.” It’s an ethics and economic imbalance. https://t.co/T3oauzyJlC
@theavidhamad Yes, real solutions do matter and they do exist. In fact, we have a section on our site dedicated to alternative solutions: https://t.co/VqIDaW37CN
Akathisia is a movement disorder that makes it impossible to sit or remain still due to an intense inner restlessness. It is an internal torment that, at its worst, makes life so torturous that, in the words of one pharmaceutical executive, "Death is a welcome result."
Psychiatrists know their drugs can cause #akathisia. Yet they rarely warn patients that this might occur as a side effect.

More than 20 million children and adolescents are taking prescribed psychiatric drugs known to cause severe side effects such as aggression, murder and suicide. In fact, the US Food and Drug Administration has slapped antidepressants with black box warnings strongly cautioning consumers against suicide. https://t.co/ZROo4AtD3G
Psychopharmaceuticals do create havoc, as explained by those who experienced them (and lived). The negative effects of these drugs are increased when they interact with existing mental instability. It is all explained and shown in detail in our recent exposé. https://t.co/zwgreJRKXF
Hard to believe something so small can create such mayhem. https://t.co/xv3DXucgD2
Some people under the influence of mind-altering psychiatric drugs are wreaking carnage in public places such as shopping malls, churches, movie theaters, concert venues and university campuses.
