It's official now! Over the past 18 months, we’ve been working on this 1,000-page comprehensive book with Cisco Press. Segment Routing & SRv6 is the de facto next-generation technology for Service Providers and large Enterprise Networks.
This book covers everything from theory to practical implementation, including configuration examples on IOS-XR and IOS-XE platforms.
Network Engineers, Architects, and CCIE candidates—you’re going to love it!

@Telekom_hilft Internet vertrag (MagentaZuhause XL "250 Mbit/s") vereinbart. E-mail bestätigung kommt, und meint, wegen "Technische gründe" wird die max geschwindigkeit zu "175 Mbit/s" reduziert. Wie kann man das eigentlich erklären. Kunde zahlt 250, und bekommt 175?

@DaryllSwer As for SR-MPLS, not only do typical SPs implement it but also large Enterprise networks do the same. Personally, been involved in more than 30 different SR-MPLS deployments, and recently many SRv6 deployments. The simplicity of SRv6 is the key driver.
IANA assigned the "5f00::/16" IPv6 block for Segment Routing (SRv6) SIDs.
Network Operators can use this specific IPv6 range for SID or uSID (microSID) assignment in SRv6 networks.

@eurowings Cabin Bag + Priority booked online. At the check-in in airport was told to pay again for the trolley as they “don’t see it in the system”. Paying twice for the same thing, is that business as usual for you?
With additional linux-specific configs on the Host, the IOS XRd (docker container based) in Proxmox works great. This is significant. Compared to XRv9k image which requires 20G of RAM, you can run XRd with as little as 5G of RAM.
