Mrs. Reinsel’s students read “Balloons Over Broadway” and learned about Tony Sarg, the man behind the first balloons for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Students then designed their own parade balloons and had their own version of the parade around the school! 🎈🦃

Mrs. Perez’s class had a fun get together last week being pilgrims and Native Americans! They were all so excited for the First Thanksgiving Feast and learning the history of the First Thanksgiving! 🦃

We are happy to report that CCK8’s Odyssey of the Mind team escaped the Gold Rush at the Escape Game in Orlando. They need to build their own escape room for Odyssey of the Mind, so this was much needed research!
