Have you tried an @eduprotocols ? I decided to try iron chef tonight during my virtual grad class. My students loved it and had the best break out rooms @newpaltz

Flexible regrouping to help Ss find partial quotients. They start with expanded form and then shift a ten until they reach numbers that they can work with. It been a game changer for my Ss @gregtangmath@mburnsmath
For the last 4 weeks I’ve worked with Ts to unpack #sor. We’ve looked at the research, policies and the pillars of literacy beyond just phonics. It’s been a journey. Thank you @RocklandTeacher for this opportunity to teach and help others deepen their understanding
After a @gregtangmath workshop at @rocklandboces I started using snap cubes whenever I was having kids model their math. What a time saver!!! They are so easy to manipulate. Here we were working on division with remainder from Do The Math @mburnsmath
