Taxi driver Emmanuel Githua, who was arrested for the killing of Kennedy Kibet, might walk free or be charged with manslaughter if he gets a good lawyer. The multiple stab wounds may reduce his chances of walking free, but the fact that he was attacked by a group of people, he might argue that it was self-defence and get a lesser sentence.

With the help of CCTV footage, he might be handed a sentence of less than 12 years, according to how I'm seeing it. The murder charges will eventually be turned into manslaughter with a good lawyer.

According to the CCTV footage, Kibet and others had hit Emmanuel's car and were trying to escape when Emmanuel chased the car that had hit him, parked slightly in front of it, and started taking photos of the vehicle. It was then that he was attacked by Kibet and other people, prompting him to go back to his vehicle, pick a knife, stab Kennedy, and flee the scene.

Kennedy was rushed to hospital and pronounced dead. Had Kennedy taken himself to the authorities, Emmanuel's chances of getting away with it as self-defence might have been higher, but the fact that he fled reduces the chances.

This is where the confrontation began.
The guy was accused of scratching the other guys car, which he denied.

He then goes back yo his car and gets tge knife. The guys around are heard telling him " si utoe, fanya kenye utafanya"

Then the guy goes haywire in the next video and starts stabbing him.
He doesn't stop, when the guy stabbed runs away, he follows him and continues stabbing him.

The guy drops dead.

As a driver never allow yourself to be provoked while on the roads by other reckless drivers. Things can escalate very fast and you end up killing the other driver or being killed.

I remember that dashcam video of some dude breaking and subsequently stealing the grille from a Toyota Harrier while in traffic. The driver had a choice of accelerating and hitting the thief. But he did not. Accept to take the L and move on. You'll be dejected but will live.
