Cut your to-do list in half and watch your focus bloom. It’s not about doing more, but doing what moves you forward—like using a scalpel, not a sledgehammer. #PerformanceHacks
Posting about @moltbook and what it means for our future at this stage seems like signal for lower IQ, ignorance or just trend jacking.
I see the irony, but I just had to call it.
I’m less interested in building “successful” businesses these days and more interested in not building systems that quietly make life worse for the people inside them.
Still figuring that out in public.
I found these notes today on my computer from April 2020 - see what I was thinking about during COVID 😬

So it’s Australia Day long weekend…
So let’s cue up the usual:
- Coles or Woolworths will do something racially questionable to get free media coverage.
- The PM gives some watered down statement that could be given for any country.
- Some influencer will make headlines about some racial statement.
- We will have to question if the country really exists, and if so which day that happened on.
- Media will have to get the opinion a white person who thinks this is their big moment and gives the indigenous perspective, then get contrast from indigenous sportsperson who loves the limelight.
- Independent Australian ex-mainstream media turned YouTube wannabe will have to almost disown Australia with some woke idea to cash in on the Australia Day traffic.
- Someone will have to say Trump should be our president (new, but makes the list).
- Lamb Advertisement.
- People BBQing in public places pretending they are not really there for Australia Day.
Have I missed anything?
All the conjecture, all the questioning, all the uproar is for selling something for either money or influence. It is not real. It is not Australia.
Look, here’s what is underlying fact. It is a great country full of great people. How do spot an Aussie?, they are proud of the country!
They are not fooled or distracted by the bull listed above. They are proud of each others contribution and are happy to celebrate that. No mater where they originated from. Australia is a way of being, not land or a location. You can be Australian in any part of the world, and you know them when you see them.
Sure people can be silly in their ideas, but underneath that they are good. And if you are a good contributor, you have a positive outlook, you leave the past where it belongs, you want the best for those around you and don’t wish ill on anyone, and you have a healthy pride in those that share in these ideals. If you adopt and believe in this idea and drop everything else, no matter where you originated, then you are Australian. And we should celebrate it!
And that celebration is called Australia Day.
OI!
