We wanted to share a special thank you and congratulations to senior Laura Phillips, who has served as a program coordinator for @ccokansas's Earth program since her first year at KU. Laura has participated in our Service Showcase and Celebration every year she's been a Jayhawk!
The @ccokansas has worked hard this year to keep in-person events health, safe, and accessible. Super Service Saturday and Into the Streets Week were challenging, but they taught CCO leadership to value hybrid events and the meaning of service over the surface-level impact.
This year, KU nominated Radhia Abdirahman, a junior studying Human Biology, Global and International Studies, African and African Diasporic Languages.
Congratulate Radhia here: https://t.co/Gv8RsiU2cY.
Radhia Abdirahman, a junior in human biology, global & international studies and African & African diasporic languages, is KU’s Newman Civic Fellow for 2021-2022.
Rock Chalk, Radhia! ✨ @KUServes @KU_UG_Biology @KUafs@kuglobal@ccokansas@ku_heal https://t.co/axkYxI1Rak

Congrats on making it through the fall semester! The Writing Center will still be available remotely during the break, however we are not taking consultations until the spring semester.
The CCO wishes everyone a safe and happy fall break! 🍂 We want to thank every single student, volunteer, and staff member who've worked hard to make this semester a success—even in these extremely difficult times. Now, we hope you all get to rest and enjoy the holidays. 🎉
