@InsomniacKuzco@XwingsHangar@Criticless_inc I’ll just say one thing- it’s not about that. It about letting kids know that Skeletor and evil things are just evil. Period. There’s no backstory that matters. There’s no grey area. There’s just coming to the realization that evil must be destroyed or it will destroy you.
@JoeGKushner@DT2ComicsChat The way that worked for me is the end when he goes on the .. vision quest ? I guess. I loved that. Personally. (spoilers) for a little bit seemed like a dream/hallucination back on Earth. They tied it back to Earth and .. Office space. Lmao.
@JoeGKushner@DT2ComicsChat That’s just how movies are - they want to jump straight to the action. Maybe there is a a little more to that, that was left on the cutting room floor. Reminded me of a comedic version of the matrix. Was all clunky, but there was so much good I didn’t care too
Much.
@movieweb Absolutely amazing film. Funny, action packed, violent and epic. The fights are visceral and the feeling when you leave the theatre is joy. The colors, the music, the world building, the fact that there’s no grey and good wins over evil - one of my favorite movies ever.
@Nazgul49@CobraEagle42@TheCriticalDri2 Per the rules now of the MPAA there MUST be atleast one black/ minority lead. You can’t get around it. Thats why. - Idris Elba did a great job btw.
@TopTalkCinema Loved it. Might not be for everybody. But holy shit, I thought it was one of the best action/scifi movies I’ve ever seen. Saw it in IMAX btw. Every hit, hit hard.
@akachi_is@batmanisbett3r Than that’s why you’ll get. It was better than 7/10 for me personally. 9.5. One of my favorite movies ever. Same feeling I got with T2 or maybe first Pirates. Going to see it with the family tonight.
