How Europe under developed Africa by Dr. Walter Rodney get the book and read it. It was so powerful. He was banned from Jamaica. It was known as the Rodney riot.. he was also targeted by the government of Guyana eventually killed him in June 13 of 1980. The Europeans were very upset about this book.. because he exposed them for taking everything out of Africa and did not build anything in Africa.

Today, the Voice team pays tribute to a very special man - Mr. Lessept Saunders - a Windrush pioneer who passed away recently at 107 years old. 🙏🏾

He was the oldest member of the @hackneycaribbeanelders and well loved figure in the wider community.

Mr Saunders was born on 24 January 1919 in St Mary, Jamaica, shortly after the First World War.

Mr. Saunders has touched countless lives through his courage, strength, and unwavering devotion to others.

Rest in Peace Mr. Saunders. 🙏🏾🕊️🕊️🖤🖤

We are truly saddened to hear of the passing of Clovis Constantine Salmon OBE. 🖤

His death was announced by family and agent, they confirmed that Clovis Salmon OBE died at 98 years old, on 18 June 2025 at King’s College Hospital, London.

Also affectionately known as ‘Sam The Wheels,’ Clovis was a skilled bicycle technician. In tribute, Lambeth Council installed a public monument of historic bikes outside his beloved home on Railton Road, Brixton, South London.

Thank you Clovis for everything. Your legacy will live on. 🖤🖤🕊️🙏🏾
