The Harvard Study of Adult Development began tracking the lives of 268 Harvard sophomores in 1938.
It is considered the longest running study on adult life, health, and happiness.
Here are 3 powerful findings everyone should know:
@Leonthehitman7 @careforworld @ProfBillMcGuire That’s great. I wasn’t attacking you. I’m just trying to point out that there are so many things we can do to reduce our footprint. The thing that is upsetting is that people simply don’t care. I’m sure I’ll be attacked and labeled as a Ken for simply caring about something.
@Leonthehitman7 @careforworld @ProfBillMcGuire But yes, people can produce their own food whenever possible, and stop purchasing food from restaurants and fast food/food delivery places. Even sit down restaurants now are tending towards disposable items, such as utensils and condiment cups. Why?
@Leonthehitman7 @careforworld @ProfBillMcGuire How about buying re-usable items instead of single use items. That’s what I’m talking about. Should corporations be allowed to sell things like crock pot liners for people that are too lazy to wash their crock pot, at the expense of the environment?
@poacher2480 @careforworld @ProfBillMcGuire As you’ve pointed out, I’m not perfect. However, I feel there’s a big difference between someone that buys a product and uses it for the full duration of its life and others that need to buy and use single use products out of pure laziness.
@POTUS Why is my health insurance premium going up over 25% next year? Why does it cost a middle-aged individual with no health problems over $600/mo for the highest deductible plan available ($7,000)? This is not a family plan, just for me.
