@NPortnell Brilliant album, one of many he’s done. Saw him on the HQ tour, with Chris Spedding on guitar, which was superb. Remember an interview with Joanna Newsom when she talked about Roy Harper a lot.

@TeachingTheVoid Get a copy of John Gay’s The Beggar’s Opera as well, if you can find it, to see where some of Brecht’s ideas came from.

@phillengthorn Yes, indeed! Great album👍

[Charles Parker @ccpb59]

@TeachingTheVoid You might like these…the Stitch novel is one of the most surreal novels I’ve ever read! An entertaining read. The Paramo was totally absorbing….

[Charles Parker @ccpb59]

@TeachingTheVoid Cracking read! Just bought his new one-looking forward to it.

@TimSmith2021 @davidhepworth Enjoyed all of them. ‘1971’ caused some full on discussions regarding which of the 100 albums would be in a top ten!😉

[Charles Parker @ccpb59]

@EastLndonGroup Same spot on a recent murky day! The painting is much warmer!!

[Charles Parker @ccpb59]

@TimSmith2021 @soundloungeCIC She was booked for the college I was at, then had the huge hit and cancelled…but, to be fair, she came at a later date and played the gig.

[Charles Parker @ccpb59]

@Indiepopanarchy @MichaelDaly64 Brilliant game…’updated’ version arrived recently😉😉

[Charles Parker @ccpb59]

@TimSmith2021 I’ve just added this to my burgeoning Dylan pile!
