There's lots going on this week but let's not forget it's Christian Aid Week too! Please tweet/retweet and share the great things you are doing to celebrate this valuable and life changing cause for so many in our world.#globacitizens#christianaid
The @PlacesProject would like to wish all Y6's the very best as they begin their week of Sats exams. We look forward to having lots or fun with you in your final term at primary school. Keep calm, don't worry and enjoy the sun!
Such an honour to see one of our @PlacesProject's in action. May I present Walmsley Gospel Choir! The Y5's at Walmsley CE Primary School did such an amazing job and Nicola our Deanery Children and Families Worker supported and led them so very confidently. #sing#makingripples
Gervase Phinn, author, educator and former school inspector, bringing laughs to our afternoon and enabling us all to remember the preciousness and value of children. #CESchoolsMCR
We are in Bolton this morning for the annual diocesan schools' conference! We are looking forward to a great day and are enjoying the view! #CEschoolsMCR

It’s not a big, iconic or ‘sexy’ species and it won’t get much coverage in the media but this is important. The Bramble Cay melomys is now extinct ... the first mammal to be declared extinct due to human-caused climate change. Don’t let this go unnoticed.

Christian Aid Global Neighbours Conference this afternoon @DioManchester. We are learning about how to empower our children into becoming courageous advocates. #empowering#bebold
On Sunday a group of our students travelled up to the Cathedral at Newcastle upon Tyne to support Mother Jennifer at her licensing which took place during Evensong. Around 20 supporters from the College attended. We wish her well.
Our Children's Officer with Annie Kenney, just before we settle into the Ephiphany Service for schools at Oldham Parish Church. #women#magi#wisdom#ephiphany
M&J spent the weekend with the Stockport Symphony Orchestra and Ann ...Mary enjoyed the soothing sounds to reduce her back pain and Joseph had a go at banging a Kettle drum! They then spent a relaxing Tuesday with the lovely @mancmapper, putting their feet up. @DioManchester
Mary and Joseph had some post wedding fun with newly weds Eve and Simon. @ChoralEve. They enjoyed hearing all about it and meeting there very first snow people. @DioManchester
Second week of Advent and Mary & Joseph spent an extended weekend with our very own Jamie Mackenzie, Local Ministry Officer, and his family. They enjoyed an exhilarating ride on Jamie's bike ( which I'm not sure was ideal for a heavily pregnant lady) @DioManchester.
