Sad that Bungie has produced some of the best games ever, and are now at this point. I still believe Halo and Bungie would be in better states if they had never lost out on Halo.

So in other words, you have no idea what you're talking about and are just hating on Valve because you can't afford their products? Got it. To educate you, yes, you can build a similarly speced machine for a similar price or *slightly* less. The premium price for the Steam machine is the form factor and the fact that valve themselves are the ones working on it and making it have the level of compatibility it does. Valve does try to keep their hardware as close to fairly priced as possible. Current market conditions have made that very hard. You don't need Google to tell you this stuff if you have even a little bit of knowledge of the current pc market. Next time, educate yourself before you start talking about a topic you don't know much about.
