Just had my first taste of honey from our new beehives at #HighLeigh - straight out the honeycomb 😊
It is simply beyond rational belief that the industry of the bees, the sweetness & purity of the honey, the intricacy of the honeycomb symmetry could all come about by chance.
Thanking God for the addition of #HighgateHouse to the network of Christian residential conference centres across the land. Special thanks to our good friend @_mikeroyal for his words of kingdom blessing and dedication at our official opening yesterday 🙏
Grateful for opportunity to attend an Easter reception at No.10 today. Turned out to be quite a reunion of @CCT_Conferences guests 😌
Children from St John’s CoE primary, Canterbury stole the show with a delightful presentation of the Easter story inc “He is mighty to save” 🎶
Delighted to launch our new centre Highgate House at #NWLC24 in Harrogate. Last time I was here many years ago I was launching a credit card. Funny how things turn out in God’s great plan.

Praying for @JustinWelby for the #coronation of King Charles III tomorrow. Had the privilege of hosting an event with HRH four years ago. Not sure he was hanging off my every word 😊
In the Netherlands at a wonderfully encouraging global gathering of Christian camps, conference centres and retreats @CCIWorldwide only to find a delegate with one of our #HighLeigh centenary water bottles 😊
And in goes our 12th apricot tree. Yes - apricots in Herts 😮!!! Here’s our #HighLeigh groundsmen Anthony & Martin bookending Andy & Regina from @ARochaUK in #partnership
Had a great evening with @OpenDoorsUK at our church recently. The guy fronting the evening said how often do we sign off emails and messages with “take care” (which I often do). He challenged us as Christians not to take care but to take risks!
Reminded of God’s enduring promise at #HighLeigh this morning…“‘As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.’”
Genesis 8:22 NIV
Just caught up with 30 Oct edition of @BBCSoP on BBC iplayer - covering the faith journey of @SeanFletcherTV who came to #HighLeigh over the summer. It’s a full on gospel edition - really encouraging and highly recommended 👍
In Isle of Wight for the week. One of the joys of going on hols is worshipping as one with sisters and brothers you’ve never met before in your life. From Ventnor to Vietnam, not that I’ve ever been to Vietnam, just saying!
Big day today as we say goodbye to Aryna, one of two young Ukrainian women living with us since April who is moving to London. She says her favourite thing over the last few months has been family meals & prayers. Even in a horrible war, God is at work! Please pray for her 🙏🇺🇦
Got to Psalm 27 in our housegroup this week. We agreed that we were all too busy to apply the last verse…“Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.”
Martin’s pose as he was weeding the lavender beds at #HighLeigh today put me in mind of Moses and his staff or Gideon and his men drinking water (Judges 7). Lovely day BTW. And new flower beds resplendent too.
In Brum today (with work, not at a party conference). Never ceases to amaze me that when New Street station was magnificently redeveloped a few years ago that this lovely quotation from Rev 22:2 - a picture of paradise restored - found its way onto a sculpture on the concourse 😊
