Athletes will lose 8-12% of their speed over the course of a season. That is a massive decline. Unless you train speed during the season. The choice is yours

Never skip breakfast as a student athlete.
Skipping breakfast can lead to:
🚫 Low energy
🚫 Poor focus
🚫 Missed nutrients you won’t make up later (Mahony et al., 2005)
Breakfast = Better:
✅Concentration
✅Mood + focus
✅Nutritional status
✅Problem-solving ability
✅Physical performance
✅Chances of meeting daily nutrient needs
🚫Coffee is NOT breakfast👉
You will have a bad moment, a bad play, a bad decision. This is life.
The best don't let it turn into 2 bad plays, 2 bad moments, 2 bad decisions. They don't let it snowball. They reset, refocus and get back in the game.
This is the battle and it is won or lost in the mind.
