@RocketsCulture@DrewScuilla@elitetakes_ probably because he’s 2nd yards by a substantial amount. Only about 33% of Tua’s yards are YAC, which is very low. He leads the league in air yards per attempt lmao
@RocketsCulture@DrewScuilla@elitetakes_ this has happened like twice this year, you act like this is every pass he makes lmao. they’ve been last in YAC like all season
@WeeklyNFLTakes@49ersFittedCap @DJosiahD3 @elitetakes_ just admit you have no idea what you’re talking about. They averaged 3.4 ypc total last year, going from one of the worst o lines to the literal worst OL in football isn’t “improvement.” the only “improvement” they’ve made until this offseason is waddle. that’s it.
@49ersFittedCap @DJosiahD3 @elitetakes_ How do you know he can’t be “elite” though? He’s come off of a near career ending injury, had one of the worst receiving cores, worst OL and 2nd or 3rd worst RB core, and a coach who hated him. And has been fine. Everyone gives passes for tlaw, wilson, fields, but none for tua.
@49ersFittedCap @DJosiahD3 @elitetakes_ I don’t understand the “he needs a good team” argument. As if he hasn’t been average with probably the worst circumstances around him possible his first two seasons.
@DeanTrombino@Varsitycamplife@PFF_Fantasy I feel like people have completely forgotten how incredible his downfield accuracy was in college. Now maybe the hip injury hindered that a little, but if he can get back to that level all this “can’t throw downfield” talk is gonna sound absolutely ridiculous.
@ShawnCavanaug03 @yo_takeover @brandongc2021@andreww7171@TheoAshNFL Two seasons with Tua and half of one with Mac until his injury, unless you want to count Hurts in garbage time. The scheme doesn’t negate the accurate deep balls from tua that made jaylen so dangerous in college. Narrative is that tua can’t throw deep yet it was a strength @ bama
@ShawnCavanaug03 @yo_takeover @brandongc2021@andreww7171@TheoAshNFL hmm that’s funny. He was a deep threat coming out of college? wonder who was throwing to him then?🤔
