#GutlessGladys says she will hold press conferences when there is something important to communicate to the people of NSW.
This is an insult to the families of those who will die and get gravely ill due to Gladys’ failures, each day she fails to front for scrutiny.
Gladys:
1. fails to contain outbreak;
2. sez don’t judge me by those numbers;
3. blackmails nation with #insanity of early re-opening
4. Pisses off to Hawaii
#GutlessGladys
Gladys: becomes Premier and leads party whose only political strategies are appealing to the selfish gene, bending rules and creating rorts for their mates.
Also Gladys: stop being so selfish, abide by the rules and think of the community at large!

Both #Scotty and #gladys have stooped to playing politics with the virus.
The other States, with #labor leaders, will not be supplied with enough vaccine to protect them once NSW opens up.
They will be pilloried for keeping their borders closed to the #gladysbinfire.

What next for COVID19 in the land of Oz - a thread:
Here we are, two months into the soft lockdown of NSW, sleepwalking toward catastrophe, without any effective leadership.
So what comes next?

Now the whole country is going to be made to pay for the failures of #gladys and #scotty. Scarce vaccine resources will be directed to #nsw and away from other States, who will be left vulnerable when #gladys reopens too early, letting Covid rip through the whole country.

@sidherian I think asking some very targeted questions about what Chant advised Berejiklian about the Delta strain in May/June, it’s communicability and how strong and fast a lockdown should be in response, could be fruitful. Also, who from the real estate lobby has been buying her lunch?
The compliant media pack at the #GladysTheSuperSpreader pressers have finally woken up and remembered their job is to ask hard questions and not do PR for this #GladysClusterFukup
@sidherian I think there are strong parallels between Newman and Berejiklian. They have both squandered public support through incompetence and corruption. There would be many groups: doctors, businesspeople, public servants etc, very unhappy with her decisions.
@sidherian It’s great to be able to have a constructive discussion online. I completely understand the frustration that is at the heart of many tweets I see calling for dismissal. I simply cannot agree with it being a solution, because it is so anti-democratic.
@sidherian 3. Make FOI requests - get info the go to is trying to conceal
4. Promote the findings of FOI requests through the media
5. Make submissions to govt committees considering retrogressive legislation,
6. Remind everyone you know, at election time, that they need to put Libs last
@sidherian What we did here in Qld to get rid of the Newman govt was basically:
1. Form alliances - many groups otherwise supportive of LNP were deeply angered by Newman’s policies;
2. Use the media - we wrote articles and made media appearances, drawing attention to the poor performance
@sidherian Thanks for that. Interesting that both dismissals involved governments which had agendas for essentially ensuring a fairer distribution of wealth.
@sidherian You might disagree with my ideas for what to do in the meantime, it’s all pretty dreary, unrewarding work, but it is consistent with ensuring governments change as a result of a democratic process, not at the whim of a vice-regal appointee.
