Every row in this chart is a model. With business context in CData Connect AI, 25 of 27 models cut their median tool calls, each by more than half.

The 2 that didn't move, Qwen 3.5 9B and Mistral Large 3, also struggled to succeed with context. Context raises the floor, but it can't replace model capability.

We (@cdatasoftware) gave AI agents business context (via Connect AI) covering CRM, warehouse, and ITSM data. Across 27 models, median tool calls per run fell from 40 to 8, and total spend fell from $350 to $93. The model mattered far less than the context it could read.
