Happy international neonatal nurses day to all the dedicated hardworking staff in TV&W and beyond. A highly skilled and compassionate workforce, thank you for all you do to enhance the experience of babies and their families receiving neonatal care. #INND25#NNA#Neonatalnurses
A huge congratulations to SONeT neonatal transport service for recently celebrating their 10th birthday! Heartfelt thanks go to all the members of the team who safely transport our smallest patients and families around the network, you are invaluable and very much appreciated ❤️
It’s #InfantMentalHealthAwarenessWeek 💜 In neonatal units, the quietest person - the baby - still has a voice. 👶 When we slow down, tune in, and respond with empathy, we shift from doing to babies to being with them. Are we truly seeing, hearing, understanding them? 💞
Last week was #kangaroocareday2025 I think you'll agree that the staff across TV&W really got into the spirit of the celebration! Raising awareness of the benefits of skin-to-skin cuddles with the theme 'In My Arms, You Thrive' by dressing up, baking cakes and sharing information
Happy #InternationalNursesDay2025 to all the wonderful neonatal nurses working across the network. Thank you for all your hard work, care, dedication and professionalism. You make a huge difference to the experience of families and babies, we are proud to work alongside you all.
A day packed with learning, reflection, and rich discussion on psychologically informed conversations. Great to see participants putting it all into practice with fantastic support from skilled actors. A powerful day of growth and connection!
Excellent teamwork from all involved @UHD_NHS resulting in a safe and smooth transition to the new hospital site at Bournemouth. @UHS_SONeT and the amazing neonatal team did a fabulous job of ensuring that all the families involved received high quality care. Congratulations!

We are celebrating World Down Syndrome Day today! For all the babies across our network and all the staff and families that are lucky enough to know and love them. #wouldntchangeathing#worlddownsyndromeday2025
I was so pleased to be invited along and take part in this event. The Beach building is wonderful and the Neonatal Unit is going to be such a fantastic place to work for the staff.
I’ve no doubt that families will benefit hugely from such an amazing facility.
Today @UHD_NHS we hosted 15 steps with support from our wonderful MNVP. Everyone enjoyed the tour of the BEACH building and the feedback was so positive. It was great to be able to show our guests that we listen and value their opinions - we have introduced quiet closing bins!
