Okay this is kind of hilarious. I made this exact same point when Jason Schreier reported on how Bioware chose to make Anthem as a live service game and how it wasn't forced into it by EA. He then put me on blast to his followers IIRC and I got a ton of snarky comments.

Rather, I think fast travel is limited because if you could fast travel everywhere you'd realize how short the game is. I think I'm fairly close to the end. I've killed lots of big creatures inc Medusa and a dragon. I had fun. Think I might just call it a day.

I'm souring on Dragon's Dogma 2 quite a bit. First of all, the microtransaction defenders were lying out of their dirty assholes. You DON'T get plenty of portcrystals. I've been playing for 20 hours and only have one. This means fast travel is very limited for me.

That wouldn't be a problem if exploring the world was fun but it is incredibly repetitive. I'm so sick of killing the same god damn enemies. I'd enjoy it more if fast travel we're readily available. However, I don't think this was a ploy to make you buy portcrystals via the MTS.

I will never be able to get enough of the Matrix but I'm not sure how I feel about one that isn't directed by a Wachowski. Hopefully this was her choice and she is still able to direct the story where she wants it to go.

@b0tster It's amazing how people blurt out the excuse "but you can earn them in game" before they've even played the game. The revival stones in particular blatantly prey on people who are struggling.
