@willynylly I think we need Nelander in Matthews on separate lines. They’ve played together before and didn’t do very well. Plus they’re both considered our top goal scorers. Each one should be on a line with a set up man and puck retriever.
@NHLRumourReport 100% so they had to pull back when they realized Toronto and Tampa wasn’t going to overpay for only 2 guaranteed years. You have to come off the price a bit when there’s only 2 years.
@IceMetrix I think Wright is good but if you can get a guy on the trade block like Barzal you’re getting a no offer star not a guy who needs a new scenery. We’ve made enough high risk moves the past few years. It’s time we get someone like back when we first got Tavares
@berezin_goal I think the plan is to bring in a big fish to play 1st line RW. Once they trade Reilly and Joshua they will free up around 10m in cap space. I could see a push for a Barzal type. Someone who can play RW/C. I think I’d rather see them strengthen the top 6 than keep adding depth
@thegoat2112 I think ideally he wants his own number similar to Wayne Gretzky Connor McDavid. A number that no one else really has. A number that when people look at it, they think of him similar to when we see 97 and 99. I doubt he’s gonna take a number that’s already solidified in Toronto.
@PoliticalStacy Dude you don’t get it. He’s not trying to save the planet he’s trying to avoid power outages due to over consumption with the lending heat wave. No power = many deaths. Look at history. It’s happened before
