@kavitharao Sympathies. I hope this generation can capture some of that joy later in their young adult lives (privileged take, I know). All I can offer is that the job market is not terrible. We are running out of young people in consulting, I see big tech hiring a lot too (Singapore)

@kavitharao @susanj13 I truly have admiration for him. And I'm sure the book is interesting, I might buy it too 😁 but to say that it's made cooking accessible is just gaslighting

@kavitharao We use the freezer a LOT. We do leftovers a lot too. And one-dish meals and eggs. I didn't buy into the instantpot thing for years but I'm coming around to it because it's easier to clean. I also try and have 'meal makers' around - batch grilled chicken/veg, frozen beans/lentils

@kavitharao Haha, I'll stop with the unsolicited advice then. It IS hard. We get through a lot of convenience food in this house. And it still feels like the washing and putting away is never ever done.
