#medlibs friends - how are you all doing? I'm just rejoining MLA and catching up on the last few years. Do people prefer Meta now, or is X still the preferred social media platform? (2/2)
Hello X friends! It's been over two years since I last signed into this platform - so much has changed! I left my former company and took a career hiatus to care for my young kids due to childcare shortages. Gearing up to rejoin the paid workforce come September. (1/2)
Hey Twitterverse and medlib friends! I'm back after a two year hiatus due the pandemic and am gearing up to see everyone in person at #mlanet22. Looking forward to catching up!
Staring at a screen that says "Please wait, the meeting host will let you in soon" is so much less exciting than watching a room fill up with attendees before a program begins. Anyone else? I can't wait to be in a room filled with colleagues again! #mlanet21
Today is the day! Join us @MedLibAssn#mlanet21 - We're showing how VisualDx can improve knowledge, diagnosis, and care for patients of color Thursday, May 20th at 3pm EST. https://t.co/0GAquJrlja
@chicalibrarian As a medlib working for a vendor I usually avoid plugging a product, however, check out Aysa - a free app where you can take a photo of your skin prob, answer some questions, and find out the dx possibilities. It might not be a wart and could easily be another diagnosis.
Hey #medlibs@VisualDx is hosting a product demo focusing on diagnosis in patients of color on Thursday May 20th at 3pm EST during #mlanet21

@pat_devine I'm noticing some missing functionality in the online planning tool. Last week I was in there and able to search sessions by topic areas, and I swear by presentation type such as lightning talk, etc. But this week I don't see those options. Something is definitely up!
Hey #medlibs! Who is attending the vconference for #mlanet21?
I've been pretty quiet on Twitter during the pandemic but I'm alive and well. Have missed you all! Looking forward to digging into all of the on-demand presentations this week!
@NoetheMatt Shorter answer: shoes can help protect their feet during the phases where they are crawling/learning to walk and keep them warm. I found shoes to be necessary around 6 months and my kids were walking at 12 months.
@NoetheMatt As a mom of 2 young kids here is my 2 ¢ - newborns don’t need them but by 3ms they can be useful, especially if you live in a cold climate. When kids start to crawl soft soled shoes are helpful and when they’re working on standing and cruising you can get harder soles.
