@weiwoodley@BDubyaJankins@ZacB_MN@theneedledrop He wasnt calling her main character syndrome for sharing her experience. He called her that because in the marketing of the album she was dressing as accomplished artists and trying to equate her work as a continuation on the par of those artists. He explains it in the review
@platislut@kod4kmoment She wasnt paying tribute, it was literally in her albums marketing. If you are going to compare yourself to a bunch of accomplished artists in an attempt to drive sales, to the point of making it a theme of your album, then yeah thats pretty self aggrandizing.
@platislut@kod4kmoment Watch the whole review, the main character energy also applies to the way she marketed the album when she dressed up as a bunch of accomplished muscians. Trying to draw a parallel between those people and the importance of her music was main character energy.
@JoshStrifeHayes@OGWashingtonTP I honestly wonder how many people are tripping over the red blue framing of the question and tying identity and morality to what is basically a choice between a button that says "you live" and a button that says "you might live depending on if enough people press this button"
@EmmaVigeland all the characters are sympathetic because they are struggling to exist in late stage capitalism and are victims of the trauma passed on to them through their families. Like the whole wedding theme is she's repeating her mother's mistakes while her mom cheers her on in denial
WWE will fire people you could build an entire company around like Aleister, Kairi, and the MCMG, all while promoting "Logan Paul" as a face of the company
Death to sports entertainment
@DavidVivia55726@MarcoFoster_ Harris supported the genocide and ran on strong military and conflict with Iran. Those are non starters for people who believe in leftist principles. It should also be non starters for liberals, but unfortunately here we are.
