Under the leadership of His Excellency, President Cde. Dr. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, the Government of Zimbabwe has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Magcor Consortium Group of Companies for a US$450 million investment towards the construction of new schools and the upgrading of existing education infrastructure.

The investment will be implemented under the *Zimbabwe National Education Advancement Initiative* and is aimed at expanding access to quality education, modernizing learning facilities, and strengthening the country’s human capital base in line with *Vision 2030* and the *National Development Strategy 2 for 2026–2030*.

The partnership underscores Government’s commitment to ensuring no learner and no place is left behind, while promoting sustainable investment in the education sector to drive inclusive economic growth and national development.
