Maria Bartiromo belongs in the White House Press Room.

Think about it. She’s tough, she knows the economy inside and out, and she doesn't take flak from corporate executives or fake-news hacks. Imagine her standing at that podium, completely dismantling the hostile press corps with cold, hard facts.

We don't know the full story yet, but it seems like Fox made a monumental mistake. But their loss could be the country's massive gain.
