@taddeimania Is it weird that I've found satisfaction in being able to successfully create a commit message and exit vim when doing git merge?

[Christina Cornell @cdhorn515]

@taddeimania very nice!

@Carolina_Code Thank you! So glad @Carolina_Code is in place to allow others to follow their dream of being a developer. It is hard work, but it is SO WORTH IT!!!

Job searching is hard, esp when you are in a new career, and can make you question everything about your qualifications. Someone forwarded the following msg from their boss about my portfolio, and it totally made my day.

@jakerella @ADotMartin @dcjavascript @WomenWhoCodeDC Thanks Jordan! It's a quick trip (Thur-Sat), but I'm on WWCodeDC & DCTech Slack & met some great ppl there. My focus @ TIY was Java, & I'd love to work in backend dev. Am learning some C# & Python, plan to learn Angular, & open to learning anything!

That moment when you scream out loud because you FINALLY got all of those test cases to pass. WOOHOO! #persistencepaysoff #dancepartyofone

Participated in HackerRank's women's CodeSprint this weekend. Was 1080th/1666 participants & would be 1021st if I'd submitted my revision quicker. I over-engineered the crap out of my code & still have 3 test cases failing, but still happy with my results. #ifelseftw

I'm not one to toot my own horn (unless I'm playing it), but I solved a coding interview question using a Java LinkedHashMap this week. So nice when the information clicks!

Receive email telling me to sign up in order to have access. Start sign up process, informed that email is already in use (even tho I've never signed up). Figure I'll try the reset password route. My email is not in the system. #infiniteloop #givemeabreak

Apr-Aug, still waiting. Hello IRS, where's my refund indeed? I've added late fees/penalties/compound int, you now owe me $50,000. Tick tock.
