I constantly see sunglasses in film/TV that I think are incredible. I have thought about starting a thread and this winged pair Shirley MacLaine wore in CAROLINA (2003) finally pushed me over the edge.
Everything in my life is just paving the way for me to be one of those insane retired women in NYC. The ones from the tiny red glasses SNL sketch. I yearn to wear a tent like black dreas and statement bangles at the MoMA on a Wednesday at 2pm. That will be my ultimate form.
Lately, it seems like all NY bagel shops default to toasting a bagel without being asked. What’s up with that? When did this shift occur? How do we stop this?
