Que partida memorável. O lindo gol de Sócrates, Hegel e Kant correndo para refutar, Confúcio impassível na arbitragem, o júbilo final dos clássicos e pré-socráticos.

The next hurdles will be the judge and defense attorneys. The defense will try to keep this case from coming to trial for a few years. In spite of the suspect being a recent parolee with a long record of violence, the defense might seek diversion or mental health exceptions. And then one accommodating judge who believes that incarceration doesn't suit the suspect will throw away the whole case.
With the 9:45 pm report from the Dept. of Elections, it looks like an ugly night for staunch Progressives. Maffei takes Superior Court 61%; Board of Ed, Phil Kim, 64%; A wins big; B wins, C&D lose, Sherrill wins in a blowout, Wong wins with serious oppo support split between Gee and Chow.
The biggest winner and loser of this election aren't on the ballot, however.

Surprise, surprise, surprise.
Now, what happens when the permitted vehicles come to the end of their grace period?
