Cuban queer architect and photographer, using my camera to say what I cant with words. Telling my history through my lens, looking around and framing everything, energy, vibes, moods, memories, faces, eyes, myself and my thoughts; my journey and the souls I´ve found in my path

Four years in a row, every June 22, alone and crying.
It aches so deeply-I forget
what soft feels like.
an ache that is
its own room.
its own language. its own country.
inherently lonely. isolated.

Just another day everyone amiss
Traveling through life I watch from this abyss
A year older this time my 30
Loneliness & distance weigh heavy
Health failing I can't be me
Trapped inside longing to be free
Two months confined two more to go
Depression creeps in a relentless foe
I traded letting myself rest and be sad-the first time, in a new country, alone-for doing it while working, masked for a child, for doing it under mandatory bed rest, for doing it-then gifting myself a run, when there was only one hour left.

A year older this time my 30
Loneliness & distance weigh heavy
Health failing I can't be me
Trapped inside longing to be free
Two months confined two more to go
Depression creeps in a relentless foe
An intrascendental day, age's silent embrace,
No celebration, no joy, just a passing trace.
A year older, yet stagnant, no change in sight,
As time slips away, lost in endless night.
As I mark another year's display,
Nothing happenedI felt nothing,
I just clocked another day
@thesassysergio Yup! 😅 even unintentionally I’m the annoying one with the clicker (camera or phone) in hand 😅 each second capture it’s a bit compulsive and a lot of passion in it.
Today is Thanksgiving !, we don't celebrate it here in Cuba 🇨🇺 but I am grateful for all that this space has given me, <<always >> ♥️
