Feature engineering over complex algorithms.

Process:
1. Start with raw OHLCV
2. Add technical indicators (RSI, MACD)
3. Add time-series features (lags, rolling avg)
4. Add derived features (ratios, momentum)

Result: 56 features, simple models work great.

Data validation before training.

Catches ~2% of bad data daily.
365 days × 2% = 7 days of bad data prevented.

FYI....Time-series ML mistake:

❌ train_X, test_X = train_test_split(X)

This splits randomly = DATA LEAKAGE.
Model trains on future data.

✅ train_X = X[https://t.co/91vxkUM5r9 < cutoff]
✅ test_X = X[https://t.co/91vxkUM5r9 >= cutoff]

Always split by time.
