@NDGianfortune @bturner23 Except, they failed to fill the biggest need on defense for 3 years running. Edge. We have nothing there. Have to at least TRY to fill that gaping hole if you want to build a defense. We failed to even try. Maybe it works out but it will be luck not effort if it does.

@TTolbert_Prot_ @bturner23 Absolutely did not. 3 years running biggest need has been edge. Had 2 first round chances to finally fill that need and failed to even try. Both players may be great, but there's some luck in that, you have to at least TRY to fill a hole as big as edge has been for them.

@bturner23 So both picks could be homeruns, both picks could flop that's the reality of the draft. What we do know is what was needed, an edge, 3 years running biggest need. 2 picks in first round no attempt to fix that problem. I would call that a failure, b/c we failed to even try.

@KelceGOAT87 @KCSportsNetwork We have one of the best IDLman in the game. We have zero outside help for him. Edge is what is missing for the Chiefs. Its painfully obvious to anyone who understands football. 24th in sacks last season, sacks come from EDGE.
