A slightly below normal Atlantic hurricane season (June 1 to Nov. 30) is forecast by @philklotzbach, largely because of the expected El Nino. But forecast still calls for 6 hurricanes two form, including 2 majors. Only takes 1 storm to make it a bad season for those affected.
@trippytrinyc@Alconaut05L@JCColtin No, because those buildings receive tax breaks to provide housing at prices lower than the market rate. For your hypothetical scenario to be plausible, Amazon would need to offer lower prices to the consumer โ but they donโt, but you already knew that
3:35 pm: The tornado watch set to run until 7p was cancelled early. Risk of tornadoes much diminished after midday showers/storms.
Not impossible another watch comes later, and not entirely out of the woods until a front passes.
Damaging wind gusts may accompany front late evening. Still have to watch for some atmospheric spin, too. HRRR simulated radar snapshot at 9p shown.

Fuck You to all the corrupt prosecutors that manipulated evidence to entrap an innocent American!
Karen Read is innocent and we all knew that, thank you to the jury!
