@playdate Any chance you could approximate the RGB or cmyk equivalent of the cover? I'm going to have a custom USB-C cable made and I was going to try to match them close as possible. Thanks!😎
I had no clue that so much of being a university professor would be frantically teaching myself the material that I will pretend to calmly deliver a week from now as though it's information I just happen to know off the top of my head.
@reellyrollin@jhollington@gruber There’s a ton of strength in a security policy when a company can default to the stance of, “all points of our customer’s data are secure and inaccessible, even to us”. At our customers discretion, only devices which have the hardware level security to authorize the can decrypt.
@reellyrollin@jhollington@gruber It only seems inconsistent. Telcos provide the information because they log it. As “open” information it is able to be subpoenaed. Apples stance here appears to be, transmission: encrypted, local backups: encrypted, local device: encrypted. Our (apple’s) backups? Weaker policy.
@jhollington@reellyrollin@gruber Nice find. So, the key is stored in the unencrypted iCloud backup, end-to-end encryption maintained, but the key “unsecured” if the backup is compromised. Further, any precautions taken to secure ones own messages will be compromised if the recipient is utilizing iCloud backup.
@jeremiahrags Sure! I’ve been really on the fence about switching back to blender for serious work. They’ve grown so much over the years. Probably it’s weakness in comparison to AE is trying to shoehorn strictly 2D mograph into a 3D system. But with a little creativity it can really be pushed.
