A lovely example of a photograph frame made by a student in year 10. This required careful planning, measuring, creating accurate wood joints, the use of a saw and drill. Great work!

The department has a new laser cutter which 7CD have been using to complete a ruler project. This used skills in graphic design and typography to create their 2D designs.

7GJ took home their laser printed rulers that they finished in the last term of graphic design lessons.

8CD completed their product design project last week - to design and build sweet dispensers.

9CD completed their 3D fruit today with some impressive results.

In textiles year 9 have been completing their 3D fruit. The skills involved in this project were wax batik, fabric dye painting, embroidery stiching, machine and hand sewing.

Year 7 have been creating cushions in their textile projects. These involve many skills including design, using the sewing machine, creating block prints, tie-dye and fabric pens.
