If you don’t talk about psychosis when addressing suicide prevention then you are part of the problem.
Many “awareness” discussions leave out “severe” mental diagnoses because “those people are scary and monsters”. This in itself is stigmatizing.

A livable wage is a huge disability issue. we're choosing between food and meds. Phone bill or doctor bill.
If you receive disability benefits you are on a forced poverty program.
If you are #DisabledAndWorking, there are the hurdles of being ABLE to work. #BeLoveDay
If we teach children consent regarding their body but take that ability and need to consent when it comes to, idk, ELECTROSHOCK THERAPY, then what message does that send to those kids?
That your consent and autonomy only holds weight as long as your disability doesn’t impact me?
I do not think enough people really understand what it means to be subjected to involuntary psychiatric treatment and to have your personal freedom and bodily integrity taken away. This psychiatric survivor does.
