Who wins the women’s RG final?
My heart says Maja Chwalińska. My head says Mirra Andreeva.
Maja’s Cinderella run from qualifying has been one of the greatest stories in recent Grand Slam history, but Andreeva’s poise, power, and consistency make her my favorite. 🎾🏆
Amazing to see a qualifier reach the French Open final. I initially thought Mirra Andreeva would cruise to the trophy, but not anymore. Maja Chwalińska has proven she's the real deal. What a remarkable run—this final suddenly feels wide open. 🎾🔥
@marian_kwok Really enjoyed Episode 1. The behind-the-scenes access was outstanding, and I never realized his foot problems began at such a young age. The timeline jumps between past and present can be a little distracting, but it’s working so far.
I wonder how Big Foe is feeling today and what he’s doing. I’m sure last night’s sleep wasn’t easy after all the chances he had to close that match out. That’s the brutal side of tennis—one or two points can linger in your mind long after the crowd goes home.
Tiafoe gets the break! 4-4 in the 5th. Wow. Big Foe is digging deeper than ever, refusing to go away. After nearly five hours, it’s all heart, grit, and belief. What a fight. 🍿🔥
I think it’s over for Big Foe… but there’s still a pulse. He had his chances in the 4th set and let them slip away. At the 5-hour mark, the tank looks close to empty. He desperately needs this break and a quick hold to level it at 3-3. One last push. Let’s go, Foe!
Ruud vs. Fonseca is a battle of wills and massive forehands. Ruud brings the clay-court experience, consistency, and two Roland Garros finals. Fonseca brings fearless shot-making, youthful energy, and the confidence that comes from stunning Novak Djokovic. Experience vs. magic.
So sorry to see what happened to Haley Baptiste today. Wishing her a quick, full, and speedy recovery. Injuries are always tough to see, especially for athletes who give everything to the game. Praying she comes back stronger than ever.
@LouisXXIV Too often Black tennis players are described only through physical traits — “athletic,” “powerful,” “big serve” — while their tactics, anticipation, problem-solving, and tennis IQ get overlooked. You don’t stay elite in tennis without being smart. Arthur Ashe was proof.
@Isidorobvazquez A 10-point tiebreak in the 5th set is one of the purest tests in tennis. Talent matters, but composure, fitness, courage, and belief matter even more. The player who stays mentally steady and keeps competing point after point usually earns it. Tenacity gets exposed…
@JonnyRoot_ People said the same thing when Serena changed fashion in tennis. The sport evolves.
At the end of the day, if the outfit meets the rules and the player competes hard, I care a lot more about the level of tennis than policing what someone wears on court.
