This a culmination of middle fingers and f yous from the @Pirates to these fans. They are oblivious. They don’t care. And I’m not sure they even realize that the stadium was more electric in the early 2000’s for meaningless games than it is now during a playoff race.

They haven’t come close to a sellout this year. A combination of ridiculous prices and years of destroying fans “give a damn”. The concessions are a total embarrassment. And then tonight caps it all off.

Let’s make this clear one more time. The @Pirates knew this game was postponed at 7:00. Workers started to spread the word. Players LEFT the stadium. They kept selling beer and food until they thought it was dark enough for the world’s worst fireworks display. SELL THE TEAM

This isn’t a guess. This was told to me by workers at the stadium. Equipment was being removed. They were already told of a doubleheader. We didn’t believe them until we believed them.

@1992Pirates The lack of season tickets holders and the Pirates absurd policy that they can only resell 50% of their tickets, has killed the resale market. Used to be able to get in for single digits on Stubhub. Pirates want to control the market, and the prices are crazy.
