@marievonboran Unless you're leaving those sticks to dry out for several months, this isn't a great idea. Burning wet wood release a lot of particles and can cause creosote buildup in chimney leading to a chimney fire.

You dig into it and realise they have absolutely no interest in the country's history, politics or culture. Most "Irish" Americans couldn't find Ireland on a map, never mind have any discussion beyond leprechauns.
