What the fuck is a metro plex anyway l. That shit is so dumb. It’s a term for a city that can’t stand up by itself. Same thing with the DMV. Boston is a 5 minute walk across the bridge from Cambridge and have a functional commuter and train system to the other areas and you don’t see ppl calling it’s the Boston/Cambridge metroplex

The suburbs are inherently anti community and they are devoid of culture. Natural community and gathering is a natural part of density and where ppl have third spaces to attend. This is where Europe has got it right

Middle income homes first, combination of affordable and luxury apartments and single family homes then parks and recreational areas for family . And spaces for ppl to be outside and hang out . Then we bring retail in . Restaurants. This is how you build community and culture
