@Beebbopalula @PublishingRodeo@Mail_Gun They’re very VERY affordable too. (I spend less than $2/month for all my sites sending a few thousand emails per month)
@Beebbopalula @PublishingRodeo It may be an email provider issue actually! Speaking from experience re: email in the tech industry, it’s important to use a service designed for sending automated emails. I personally recommend @Mail_Gun. I use them for all my sites and have never had deliverability issues.
Did a practice barrel run last night after struggling for a long time with correct form and maneuvers—my instructor hollers after: "I dunno if you just finally dialed in or what, but that made you look like you've been doing this for years!" So many warm fuzzies even today. 😊
I saw an idea recently that I thought was lovely…public libraries that are open late every night so ppl can socialize, as an alternative to bars or sitting alone at home. Would be especially perfect for introverts to socialize comfortably and for older people who are lonely.
Happy most annoying day of the year to all my fellow neurodivergents who hate pranks and already struggle to understand whether neurotypicals are lying or embellishing the truth the other 364 days.
Writers (or agents), I started querying in October 2022. I’ve topped 100 queries with 1 full and 1 partial to show for it. Since 10/2022, I’ve made major revisions TWICE (including a full rewrite for revpit). So my question is… 1/2
How acceptable is it to requery agents I queried back in the beginning 1.5 years ago? Should I reach out to them individually to ask, or just go for it? What’s the etiquette here? Do I mention I queried it before, but did major revisions? #amquerying#amwriting#writingcommunity
@MisterHand1 Thank you for the input! That’s what I’m leaning toward personally, but I’m also trying to gauge the extent of the extra effort and consider the cost-benefit analysis, so to speak.
