Many thanks again for the fundraising efforts of our PTA, who have kindly donated another piece of fantastic outside equipment to the school. Our Early Years children and a few adults have had a great time road testing it.
Year 1 had a wonderful day at @TwycrossZoo! The highlight was the tiger coming to say hello right above our heads on the transparent tunnel! Everyone was extremely excited! More news and photos are available in the gallery on our website: https://t.co/hYdwEC5QIQ
Our School Council has been running for a few months now and we recently welcomed members of the Danetre and Daventry Rotary Club to school to discuss some of our fundraising ideas and to put an exciting proposal to them. More details to follow in due course...! @DanetreRotary
Nursery learned the story 'Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Can You See?' and we've been thoroughly impressed. Encouraging your child to recall familiar stories and rhymes out loud is one of the most crucial things you can do to support early reading development, we do it every day!
We're all looking forward to seeing our favourite visitors return to Nursery as we welcome the Happy@Home team on Friday. We're very fortunate to have such a good relationship with this wonderful community-based group. @happyathome__
Nursery have been practicing their retrieval skills using story doors to help them recall the detail in the different parts of the story. Each coloured door opens up a new part of the story. So wonderful to see such advanced skills being demonstrated. Well done Fox Cubs.
We have had a really fabulous day at @EverdonOLC . We’ve all tucked into a lovely dinner and are settling down for an evening of games. More photos are available on our Facebook page: https://t.co/yHDtmq09Ur
