Rich,
Please correct your NY Post Story. Contractually NYPD Captains are capped to approximately $10,000 a year in overtime. Thanks

Thirty-six years ago, Detectives Keith Williams and Richard Guerzon were shot and killed by a prisoner they were returning to Riker's Island — murdered in the line of duty. The DEA will forever be here for their families, and to continue our vow to #NeverForget.
💙 Today we honor the memory of NYPD Sgt. Paul Tuozzolo, who made the ultimate sacrifice protecting the people of our city.
A respected leader and SBA delegate, Sgt. Tuozzolo was deeply committed to his fellow sergeants and the officers he led. His courage, integrity, and devotion to duty remain an enduring example of true leadership.
We also remember his family, who carry his legacy with strength and grace. Their resilience continues to inspire all who knew him.
We remember his life, his service, and the brotherhood that carries his legacy forward.
Fidelis Ad Mortem 💙

OUTNUMBERED: @CCRB_NYC is supposed to investigate complaints against cops "fairly and independently." But only a few board members show their independence on a consistent basis. If CCRB gets the final word on discipline, there will be ZERO fairness for police officers, driving more talented cops away from the city.
It is sad that the Vice President, John Flynn of NAPO, who represents cops across the country, would insult another law enforcement officer. He MUST resign today!
Today, we mourn the tragic loss of our brother Detective who died by suicide. The DEA is at his family’s side providing support.
Please remember, you’re never alone. Help is available 24/7. Call 988 or Text BLUE to 741741.

Detective Jonathan Diller was a father, husband, and one of NY’s Finest. A hero of NYC, he was just 31 years old when he was murdered in the line of duty one year ago in Queens. The DEA will #NeverForget Jonathan — and forever stand in support of his family.
Our prayers @NewarkNJPolice for our two brave Newark Police Officers and their families. The two officers shot may one rest in peace and the other have a full recovery.
Grateful that our @nycpddea brother is recovering, but he should never have had to confront this violent parolee in the first place. The Parole Board and the entire failing justice system is putting police officers and every single New Yorker at risk. The time for change is now.
Today marks six years since we lost our brother — Detective Brian Simonsen. Brian was a great investigator, union delegate, and friend to so many. The DEA celebrates Brian’s life and renews the solemn vow to #NeverForget our hero and forever be here for his loved ones.
Remember our Street Crime Unit brother, P.O. Robert Bilodeau, who made the ultimate sacrifice 45 years ago today when he was shot and killed while pursuing an armed suspect. Officer Bilodeau had survived a slashing to his neck while on duty just a year earlier. He is never forgotten. #FidelisAdMortem
Remember our @NYPDMTN brother, P.O. Frank Bugdin, who made the ultimate sacrifice 50 years ago today when he was shot and killed while responding to a call of shots fired. He is never forgotten. #FidelisAdMortem
The Captains Endowment Association supports Anthony D’Esposito to head the Drug Enforcement Adminisration. He has worn our uniform and understands that federal partners are needed to keep NYC safe. @realDonaldTrump@RepDesposito
39 YEARS TO LIFE for the attempted cop-killer who shot and wounded our 103 Pct. brother, Det. Brett Boller. Judge Kenneth Holder has sent a clear message that should echo in every other courtroom across this city: attacking a police officer will land you in prison for a long, long time.
Nineteen years ago, Detective Dillon Stewart was shot and killed by a violent criminal during a vehicle pursuit. A brave, young NYPD cop — he sacrificed his life on behalf of those he proudly served. The DEA will #NeverForget our fallen hero, and forever support his family.
Nine years ago today, P.O. Randolph Holder rushed toward the sound of gunfire. Aware of the risks, he put himself in the line of danger and gave his life, shot and killed by a serial offender. Officer Holder’s example reminds us of the grave risks police officers take so that others may live safely in their own communities. For his heroism and sacrifice, he is never forgotten. #FidelisAdMortem
