Thirty-six years ago, Detectives Keith Williams and Richard Guerzon were shot and killed by a prisoner they were returning to Riker's Island — murdered in the line of duty. The DEA will forever be here for their families, and to continue our vow to #NeverForget.

💙 Today we honor the memory of NYPD Sgt. Paul Tuozzolo, who made the ultimate sacrifice protecting the people of our city.

A respected leader and SBA delegate, Sgt. Tuozzolo was deeply committed to his fellow sergeants and the officers he led. His courage, integrity, and devotion to duty remain an enduring example of true leadership.

We also remember his family, who carry his legacy with strength and grace. Their resilience continues to inspire all who knew him.

We remember his life, his service, and the brotherhood that carries his legacy forward.

If CCRB gets the final word on discipline, there will be ZERO fairness for police officers, driving more talented cops away from the city.

Remember our Street Crime Unit brother, P.O. Robert Bilodeau, who made the ultimate sacrifice 45 years ago today when he was shot and killed while pursuing an armed suspect. Nine years ago today, P.O. Randolph Holder rushed toward the sound of gunfire. Aware of the risks, he put himself in the line of danger and gave his life, shot and killed by a serial offender. Officer Holder’s example reminds us of the grave risks police officers take so that others may live safely in their own communities.
