Conduction of stimuli (like wounds) in plants is electrical in nature (same as in animals). So when you kill, cook and eat a plant, the plant feels it.

Stop making this a Veg / Non Veg thing. This, if done properly, is good for all of us and our children. We all want to eat good food and not fabricated slow poison.
