Booked my train with @thetrainline and got it canceled after a day. So I had to request refund but trainline only refunds the ticket price, not the booking fee. So basically I lost money and now the later train options have increased in price. Horrible experience.
@NespressoUK replied with policy parroting. Citing warranty terms, dodging the pattern of failure, and rerouting me back to the channel where they already said no.
Is this really how repeat faults under normal use are handled?
@cecaholic Hi Svjetlana, I am very sorry to hear this. Please can you send a DM with your member number and full primary address, and I will look into this further for you. Thank you. https://t.co/x6vnQtAJJ5
Disappointed that @NespressoUK won't help after my Pixie failed twice during descaling. Same fault as last year, and now they say no help because it's over 6 months from repair. I was never told there was a 6-month repair window. Is this really how repeat faults are handled?
@RaphaelWimmer Where do I start. Itโs just that there is so much limitation that comes with it depending on what approach you take. We chose to incrementally change it. So thereโs so many trade offs I have to make with design and itโs taking so long to build anything.
When I apply for my next job the first question I will ask is โDo you see yourself transitioning from monolithic to micro services in the near futureโ. And then say โByeโ if they do.
Every time I see this meme โ which seems to be everywhere โ it bugs me seeing my words out of context.
So I fixed it.
Everyone deserves time to do nothing.
