The doomed put their trust in worldly things like wealth or the powers and principalities alloted to the nations of this fallen world. But on that day, nothing will deliver them. However the LORD's people have the final victory of Christ and the restoration of creation under GOD’s rule to look forward to.
@USMC "But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” (Matthew 12:36-37, NKJV)
The LORD’s people live (or die) in a way that honors and advances Christ, standing firm with one mind for the Gospel regardless of circumstances — reflecting the ultimate victory of GOD’s reign over all powers.
@RealGregMauro@KirkCameron I'm sure that Kirk will find your book inspiring Greg! Please let us know the next time you will be joining us aboard Camp Pendleton, it would be excellent to do a small group discussion of Pick Up The Bible And Let The Bible Pick You Up.
Pray indeed. Spiritual warfare is real. The corrupt spirits that GOD judges (who show partiality to the wicked as stated in Psalm 82) hate and seek to destroy the LORD's people. The late Biblical scholar Dr. Michael Heiser correctly describes Psalm 82 in its original language as a drama, where GOD stands as the Supreme Judge over rebellious and corrupt spiritual beings who have failed to uphold justice and righteousness on the earth as they should have. It is a reminder of GOD’s ultimate authority and the conflict happening in the unseen realm and the importance of praying to Him for guidance and strength in the Holy Spirit as we partner with Him, victoriously advancing His kingdom.
Indeed He is. KING of Kings and LORD of Lords. He is both the hero who ultimately wins the war against all corrupt spiritual forces and the means by which GOD ultimately reclaims and restores a fallen creation and humanity. He is the intersection of the seen and unseen realms — fully GOD and fully man — who ultimately defeats evil, forgives the sins of His people, and ultimately brings everything under the good rule of the Most High GOD. The cross and empty tomb are the turning point; everything before points to Him, and everything after flows from Him.
The LORD's people see every circumstance — even hardship — as an opportunity for gospel advance and bold witness, trusting GOD’s greater plan amid the unseen realm’s conflicts. GOD sovereignly turns apparent defeat, chains, and opposition (human and spiritual) into victory for His kingdom purposes.

Did you know C.S. Lewis predicted the modern obsession with “being nice” would destroy the soul?
In The Abolition of Man, Lewis argues that when a society stops believing in objective virtue, it doesn’t become tolerant… it becomes manipulable.
He calls the result “men without chests.”
People with appetites and intellects, but no courage, no honor, no trained moral instincts. They can calculate everything and defend nothing.
Lewis saw that once we reject inherited moral law, we don’t become free. We become raw material… easily shaped by propaganda, pleasure, and fear.
Modern man prides himself on compassion while quietly surrendering every standard that once gave compassion meaning.
Lewis’s insight is brutal: a civilization that educates clever cowards will eventually be ruled by tyrants or technicians.
Because when nothing is worth dying for, everything becomes negotiable… including human dignity.

@FoxNews@Franklin_Graham@foxandfriends Spiritual warfare is real. IMO the corrupt spirits GOD judges (who show partiality to the wicked as stated in Psalm 82) could have played supernatural a role in his unexpected death. https://t.co/PXb3eH3MWm

I was surprised and saddened to learn that Senator Lindsey Graham passed away yesterday. He had just been to Ukraine and was scheduled to be interviewed on @NBC@MeetThePress this morning. Only God knows the number of our days on this earth.
Before serving in the U.S. Senate for more than 20 years, he was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives. He also served 33 years in the U.S. Air Force, Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve, retiring as a colonel in 2015. Please pray for Senator Graham’s family, especially for his sister Darline, who he helped raise when their parents both passed away. He was known as a strong fighter for his state of SC and his country, and he will be greatly missed.
