@DOEChancellor@NYCSchools@DOEChancellor be confident that your commitment to equity is right, and transcends the politics. It's sad that everyone doesn't see it and work towards it together.

@LtGovFlanagan Please don't forget that our prisons and jails are just like nursing homes. Vaccinate prison and jail staff, inmates and volunteers ASAP. People who are incarcerated are human beings. Too often they are treated like animals.
Our family been battling COVID for 10 days now.
We were all in shape.
We have what is considered “mild” cases.
And, it has absolutely flattened us.
I’m pleading w you to please rethink your Thanksgiving plans.
You wouldn’t wish this on your worst enemy.
Let alone those you love.
@rpnorton So, so glad you gave your heart and soul to SFUSD, Rachel! So many children, especially those with disabilities, benefited from your leadership. So many staff were empowered to serve kids well, too, including me!
@CharBriner Ugh. So sorry to hear this. Thinking of you and your son. Hope he feels better soon. I'm worried about my son, too, who is incarcerated in MN. So far, he's healthy. They're trapped and at the mercy of others. And there's nothing we can do.
@GovTimWalz@LtGovFlanagan Thank you for this! Now, can we also look at getting mental health services back into prisons for our incarcerated men and women, please. They are so isolated and scared in these times.
