Capitalism has ruined people's perception of the world and made them think it's normal to be extremely selfish and greedy when it isn't. It's not natural to think human beings should go without shelter, food, and healthcare simply because they have no money. It's disturbing.
@alexanderhq@JRDNLTHMS You just like hearing yourself talk, crime in the city has been on a downward trend, you fools like to use that tired talking point to keep people in fear.
The reason millennials are so nostalgic is that they got a brief taste of a world that wasn’t entirely controlled by the stupidest people who’ve ever lived.
Racism started all of this but all of a sudden it's not about race. A administration that is 99 percent white has convinced people that diversity is wrong and a all white administration isn't!
Like I said, it’s time to examine the distribution of sales tax revenue.
Greg Abbott is a tyrant who thinks he, and he alone, holds the power to withhold money from cities and their citizens. Money that came from OUR sales tax revenue.
End Abbott’s reign. Restore local control. Vote blue.
The ISD take overs by Abbott & the SBOE are corrupt. They’re racially targeting districts and handing them over to their buddies to make money off them. What a scam.
Dan Patrick called John Whitmire “his favorite Democrat” and said that he is “practically a Republican.”
We could’ve avoided this if people paid even 10% of the attention that poli-nerds do.
Houston is diverse, fun, quirky, and has astronomically underrated food and art scenes, on top of being the medical capital of the United States.
We are good people. Prideful people. And I can assure you that we aren’t here for the weather.
This metro area deserves better. And, while I don’t live in the city limits so can’t personally cast my vote for change, I do work there and will make sure I use whatever growing influence I have to make Whitmire a one term mayor.
What an abject disappointment he’s been.
Like I said earlier this week: if Houston had a truly independent City Attorney, that office would be patterning with Austin to sue the state right now.
