@BTweeter87 Yes children are often somewhat aprehensive when seeing something new for the first time, and rude all the time because they dont have a filter
Thats not bigotry though thats them genuinely not knowing how to act because they e never seen something like that before
@tminxr@Kittycel66 Beavers and otters are native to the area as are bison wolves and moose
Being a swamp theres also hella snakes and amphibians, as well as cranes/herons
@tminxr@Kittycel66 Itd also pressure bethesda into making more post-war settlements since they cant just have everyone living in the remains of chicago
@tminxr@Kittycel66 Ok but chicago is in the middle of one of those swamps and with ground degradation from flooding the buildings would be toppling under their own weight and shit, and a fallout game where the largest pre-war settlement is entirely uninhabitable is a cool concept
@tminxr@Kittycel66 A lot of the midwest is actually swampland
If the drainage infrastructure is shut down (which it likely would be) theyd refill rather quickly
A fallout set in a largely empty swampy area with a few huge cities and the great lakes could be pretty interesting
