My manager brought up everything that’s going on in the most pc, round about way 🙄in a team meeting today then goes...”I’m hoping Jeremiah can jump in and say something...” I’m thinking no! I’m hoping one of Y’all would say something!
Attention micromanagers: if you can’t trust people to work from home, you…
(a) Probably shouldn’t have hired them in the first place
(b) Haven’t done a good job motivating them
(c) Might be projecting your own work habits onto them
(d) All of the above

Wrote a memoir-type essay for @washingtonpost about my sister and I being kids in the SF Bay Area during The Sixties and the awful toll it took on our family. Can’t thank the opinion page people enough for shepherding home a very personal journey for me. https://t.co/XDOCPONxKb
I attended services for a friend who died at age 43. She had a smile that brightened a room, and it made others smile back. I am reminded in eulogies that we are remembered for how we make people feel. Never underestimate how meaningful it can be to make others laugh and smile

When starting a new project, I find it helpful to explain what I'm doing out loud to someone else. I always find gaps in my reasoning when I say it out loud. Writing works too, but sometimes it's hard to put your thoughts into written word when the idea isn't concrete.

@ErynnBrook Yesterday, while waiting to pick up my daughter from school I saw her 6 y/o friend and asked her, what she was going to do on the weekend. Her reply was a sincere " I don't know yet, I don't have my schedule yet" me: "oh, ok"
In my #AWS#reinvent sessions this week I was asked how to restrict the regions an account can operate in. A good example is in our SCP documentation here: https://t.co/Sw0lcdsDTs
